Branches ManorSunni was being led down a hallway by a young necromantress witch named Bernice. He disliked the way that her black hair kept bouncing about in front of him. He found it distracting, and his current business was too important for distractions.  The Tree of Life Genetics Lab had sent him on this mission to collect information about the smallest branch of the Invisible Trinity. For years the lab had managed to go on in their own peaceful manner, conducting experiments, gathering data, and otherwise being quiet and peaceful in their secretive, communal living. They had always known of the existence of the "Network of Witches", but had never Branches Manor

The Order DS 4  It was a very confusing switch to make. One minute, he was occupying about half the width of a hallway, and the next minute, he seemed to be one of the smallest creatures in existence. For a moment he could not even see his surroundings clearly. Then, as his mind adjusted, a pit sank into his stomach.  
He had entered a large, circular room, almost like a roofed, miniature version of the Roman Coliseum. It was dark, and everything had a bluish tint to it cast by some unseen light source. The Order DS 3"Visitors?" replied a thick, gruff voice. "What are we, a hotel?" There was the sound of something crashing, accompanied by a loud curse, then, "If it's more of those insidious wretches from the tech department, tell them they'll get their pieces when we're finished with them."  Then Samuel called back, "Cheery as always?"  Another crash came from the back doorway, and then a figure staggered out. It was a large anthro bear, about the size of a standing grizzly, with dark brown fur, what looked like a long, thick beard, and a pair of spectacles that flashed and shone in the dim light of the forge. Order Draconis Serpentine 2It felt like waking into a dream, and it happened in much the same manner; the way that you cannot remember the precise time at which you fell asleep, and how your entrance into the dream seems to be normal, without the abruptness which one feels upon waking.  
Daniel seemed to just appear there, unalarmed, and unable to recall the exact moment of transition. The experience was not startling, but it was still amazing and wondrous. Behind him, Samuel said, "Well, Daniel? What do you think?"  But Daniel didn't seem to hear him at first. His mind was totally preoccupied with immediate thoughts. It didn't happen, it just was. I need to talk to you about something. I haven't told anyone, but I want to tell you- it's extremely important that you keep this to yourself. I've been broken up with my bf for a few months now. I wasn't ready to talk before, but I am now, that's why I acted like he was still with me.
